I wasn't sure which side of the fence he sat on though. He agreed with me on many of my issues with the GOP on a whole, but then said that he "knew" McCain would win in the end and that as a country we would get through it. I responded with the fact that yes the country will get through it if, God forbid McCain wins, but will I want to live in this country if the majority of people see nothing wrong with the current administration's attitudes and the fact that McCain and his side doesn't support and respect me as an individual and woman? I told him that at this point I can't even fathom the idea of McCain winning. It is too painful, physically, to think about. It makes me nausous (and it's not the vertigo talking).

Hang in there with me. I need the support!!Kirstenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10304497617228725441noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5395166533939958460.post-6190936611000149932008-09-11T18:30:00.000-07:002008-09-11T18:30:00.000-07:00I just approved a friend on facebook that I know.....I just approved a friend on facebook that I know...that I've known for YEARS...and to see that she just joined Sarah Palin's network sort of left me speechless for a minute.

She's just SO NOT LIKE THAT.

But I love her, and I'll never bring it up, and our votes will essentially nullify each other.

And life goes on.

Loved my card too :)Weintribehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02091336546181883213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5395166533939958460.post-20779631667837212112008-09-11T18:25:00.000-07:002008-09-11T18:25:00.000-07:00Well, Tracey, let me put it this way: I think our...Well, Tracey, let me put it this way: I think our people will be more inclusive.anniemcqhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04321843578386603574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5395166533939958460.post-57401157231398389212008-09-11T18:20:00.000-07:002008-09-11T18:20:00.000-07:00Oh, I just love this. The teacher in the classroom next door is the nicest guy, letting me borrow his tv when I had a meltdown after mine didn't work, always popping his head in to say hi - and he's a total Texas good ole boy with a "My Name is Earl" mustache and the Republican politics. He knows I'm a raging liberal feminist Yankee and I have his Texas Christian Republican number and yet we live in neighboring classroom peace. He's good people.

I just don't want his people making the rules anymore. I think we've had quite enough, don't you?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
