Think Outside the Box

Dear Aunt Jackie,

Your package arrived today.

I'm sure that the presents will be enjoyed, almost as much as the box that they arrived in.

Thank you for all the packing peanuts.

Packing peanuts are so much fun.

While we were opening the boxes, the neighbor boy came over and joined in the chaos.
And yes. I made them clean up every. last. peanut.

The box was pretty much destroyed by the kids, but Joe-Henry is now using it, in it's flattened state as a ramp between our living room and dining room, sending his hotwheels into the box that Aunt Jill sent today.

Go find "Christina Katerina and the Box" at the library, he'll love it! I had never read it and it showed up in a box of the Mighty Hunter's childhood books.

Oh, this is TOO funny because I actually took a picture of the box with all the peanuts in it that my mom sent, with the intention of blogging about it at some point.

Proof positive yet again that we are soul sisters.

And thank you so much for your sweet comments on my blog, but of course I hope you know that it's right back atcha sister friend. And I'm totally going to look up that book you mentioned - Bailey really liked Magic Treehouse last year (that was so first grade - now he's into other series, lol)
