Since Kari G. took me to Neil Diamond last night (metaphorically speaking, of course, I don't want you all to get jealous!), and much mention was made of The Ray Conniff Singers, it set my mind wanderin' a Mighty path. I started thinking about The New Christy Minstrels, and I was outta control from then on.
My brain went from here:
to here:
to (warning: easy now) here.
Happy Sunday all. Have a great week!

New Music, II
You'll have to head over here to hear the new song by Joe-Henry. Charley recorded him last night. He's playing electric guitar and singing, and it starts out very Thomas Dolby, then sort of devolves into a song about private parts and gross out things, finishing with an AWESOME fart solo.
Happy Monday!

sunday morning concert
Took these this morning. The light was amazing, streaming in through our little window, and the song he was singing was "Who Will Be The Love Again?" It was a masterpiece, and I made him promise to remember it so he could play it again when the recorder is charged. I promise to post it when I do. It was a very sad, serious song, and after the last few days, I'm forever grateful that he has an outlet. I'm even more grateful that he'll sing to me.

new music
Our son, Joe-Henry is quite a musician. We've been recording him for some time now, but have been having a tough time trying to figure out how to post the songs. We didn't want to youtube it for some reason, but I set him up with a blog at vox.com., because I couldn't figure out how to do audio here. Let's see if this works...
