The Day So Far....

Mother's Day started around 5:00 a.m. here, with Joe-Henry clutching his stomach and his chest and saying he felt terrible. I was convinced that we would be going to the emergency room, so I woke up Charley to quell my panic, and he reminded me that this has happened before. We had taken him to the e.r. where they diagnosed reflux, and so Charley brought in a children's mylanta, and I read him a story, and all was well. In fact, all was really great for him, and he wanted to wake up right then. Yawn.....

Alrighty then.

He had been begging me all week to give me the present he made for me at school, and now I know why - isn't it beautiful?

Then we got dressed up and went out to brunch....

Do you like my new bag? It was a gift from my sweet husband.

There were mimosa's for mom at the restaurant

See how happy mimosa's make me!

But nothing was quite as nice as getting lots and lots of these today...

Happy Mom's Day to you!

Deb is pouting because she is the only one without a picture bag. And holy man skirts Batman...is that a Utilikilt? Mr. Timeout should check them out if he hasn't already. Have a great week.

Hehehheheeeee,
Yes, it IS a utilikilt! He's been wearing them for about five years now. It freaks me out when he's in pants! He's been a Utilikiltarian of the month a couple years back - posing in front of the Eiffel Tower! He set the Paris fashion world on FIRE!

And may I say, Deb DEFINITELY needs a picture bag. This one is Gina Alexander, but not a super-hoity-toity one (those are amazing and awesome and so well made, but PUH-RICEY), this is her new, more affordable "tote". I'll let you know how it compares in the "wear & tear" department. The other ones are still hanging in there, even though JH is unrecognizable because he's so much older now!

Annie you look so pretty in the pics, I always loved your picture bag you had when we lived on Satsuma, the new one is awesome too.

What a beautiful day you had Annie McQ! I'm glad for you. Just what you needed methinks. Is the hubby originally from Scotland? JH is adorable. Just, adorable.

Uh, helloooo, Debbie. You are NOT the only one without a picture bag. Just like you are NOT the only one without an Iphone. Remember your also-financially-crimped-posse-sister in Austin?

Now, back to you AnnieMcQ.

Love love love you and your family. Oh, that picture of your men just makes me smile.

Well, when I'm run out of the Northwest on a rail, I'll be headed down to Texas! Seriously though - it's on my list for the year: I have to meet my Texas peeps!
