... got me a Nikon D40 SLR kit for my birthday. So I took a picture of him. Isn't he handsome?
I took lots of pictures of this cute kid at the park
and at the farmer's market parking lot...
until he got a bit bored with all my picture taking....
I finally let someone else have the camera, but just for a second.
I promise I'll TRY not to bore you with my pictures of everything that moves and or doesn't move within a mile radius of whereever my butt happens to be planted.

Love, love, LOVE every one of these pictures of your fun and fabulous family. Can't wait to see more!
Happy birthday to you, sweet friend!
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! PLEASE take pictures of everything that moves! I want to seeeeeeeeeeeeeee. yay yay yay. happy happy happy.
(it's a little like an alkie pouring her friend a drink, isn't it? ;)
can't wait!
and happy happy birthday, you beautiful brilliant girl. :)
Oooh Happy Birthday! Aren't you a good looking group. I'm all for the lots and lots of pictures. Bring em on!
(also, could you please ask JH where to get those sunglasses. I would've killed for those when I was a kid)
Thanks girls! They are a good looking bunch, except for the old broad with them. Is she the grandma? ;) Charley's grandfather used to say, if you complained about looking fat or old in a picture "Well, the camera only takes what it sees!"
And Lola - the glasses were purchased yesterday at the pharmacy after I FINALLY got my prescription filled! Happy Birthday to me!
Oh well, fuck, I missed your birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
Loved the pictures. Has anyone ever said dh bears a resemblance to Tim Conway? (I think that's who I'm thinking of)
And I LOVED J-H's teen angst/bored with my parents face.
Tracey - how in the world would you know it was my birthday? I try hard not to advertise that I'm getting a year older, until, you know, after the fact because I got a kick-ass camera for my birthday.
Thank you for the birthday wish, though!
And, I have to say: Tim Conway?! Really? I'm going to have to try really hard not to think of him as Dorf every time we're having sex. Or maybe it'll open a whole new door to that particular side of our life together!
LMAO! Yes, Dorf. I wasn't sure so I went and googled him, and yes, that's who I was thinking of.
Not meant as an insult. I mean Tim Conway in his younger years.
C'mon, doesn't anyone else see it? Anyone? Anyone?
Awesome pics!!!!:)I can't wait to see you guys:)
Yep, I see Tim Conway in his twinkly eyes and the little smile that signals he's about to crack up over the antics of Carol Burnett (anniemcq) and Harvey Korman (Joe-Henry). It's nice to see the faces behind the posts!
You all are too funny.
I think I'll have to take another pic, though, because in real life he looks NOTHING like Tim Conway. Although he is one of the funniest people I've ever met. I am clearly the straight man in this group!
Annie, you look so pretty.
oh yes I do see Tim Conway. but there's a glint in the eye that can help you forget that.
I have to admit, the resemblance has never struck me before... but in that picture, something about the shape of his eyes and the rakish eyebrows does suggest a bit o' Tim Conway.
But having sex with Dorf? OWOWOW, my sides hurt from the laughter.
It's always dangerous, that declaration that begins, "You know, you look JUST like... " Even if you think it's a compliment of the highest degree, the recipient may well be miffed.
That's why I've restrained myself from telling you that you're a dead ringer for Toni Collette.
Oops.
Toni Collette?! Really? That's SO much better than Leah Thompson, which I used to get a lot, when I was younger and skinnier.
I like Toni Collette! I'm gonna put it on my resume. "Could play Toni Collette's older, chubbier sister."
Love you, Franklin.
Happy Birthday! That is a fabulous picture of you.
