....and I'm still alive.
Honestly, though, I'm so excited. I love the staff, I love the kids, and I love working with kids of different abilities. I feel like all my weird background jobs from when I was an actor are perfectly suited to this. I'm in this strange state between completely exhausted and completely energized. I look forward to tomorrow, but I'm glad it's Friday! Although Charley goes to Banjo camp for the weekend, and we have a company picnic and another trip to Seattle in one day on Sunday. Oh my.
Is 4:00 p.m. to early for bed?

Yahoo for you! I'm almost done with week three and eagerly anticipating the first paycheck since 2001. Of course it's already been spent fixing the garage door, but hey, we DON'T have to dip into the savings to do it!!! YAY!
congrats! that sounds so great exhaustion and all
What great news! Congratulations.

TOTALLY get that. :) I'm so thrilled that you had a great day. Yay you!
Sorry I haven't been commenting much - I have been devotedly still reading, but it always seems like I'm quick cramming in my blog reading and then guiltily (because I'm not studying) finish instead of commenting.
Congrats on the job and for having the lifetime experiences to help you get along. I think those children are very blessed to have you for their teacher.
And no, 4:00 is not too early for bed when you have the job you do.
Have a wonderful weekend.
