mulling it over...

I realize that I've been really negligent attending to this blog - I'm sure you are all just holding your breath for news from the homefront. (No?!) The thing is - I haven't worked outside my house in umpteen years, much less worked a job that had me on my feet - RUNNING - most of the day. You know, aside from motherhood, but I had trained JH so I could slow down to a jog for the last few years. Who am I kidding - he trained ME, and took pity on his sweaty, panting mother. Anyway, the thing is, I've been really ambivelent to blog about this because a) I don't want to get in trouble, even though I have no intentions of naming my place of employment or any of the people I work with, and b) the most important reason: I don't want to jinx it because I'm really loving it so, so much. Also, by the end of the day, I have no words left. None. Well, a few, but I have to save those for the people I live with, because I like them and want to continue to live here.

But this weekend, stay tuned. I promise to bring you "Adventures from Outside My House".

I do want it to be known, that I have so enjoyed all of your blogs lately, and your comments on my measly offerings. I am grateful for your generous spirits!

Welcome to the world of many jobs: outside home for brain stimulation, family care for fun and laughter, and household management (which falls by the wayside 'cause jobs 1 and 2 take most of your time).

Congrats on your new position outside your home!

totally get it. it's so important NOT to blog about work -- blogging needs to be a place apart -- and it's safer that way too. :)

so happy for your happiness, girlfriend. congrats.
